First, I’m hoping you are doing well after this week’s storm. I left the house in a rain storm and returned home in a tropical storm. Big difference! Three 500 year floods in three years, that is INSANE! Now I haven’t lived in Texas my entire life, but Jiminey Crickets! In 1994, I remember the ship channel burning. That's something that doesn’t leave your memory. Living on several different coasts (my husband is Coast Guard). I am used to hurricanes, in fact, I love them. I find them exciting and relaxing at the same time. But, Houston!? Y’all bring it to the next level! Texans are a tough bunch and they take care of their neighbor like I’ve never seen. I am proud to call Houston my forever home.
